The current salary scale came into effect on the 23rd March 2011 when the then President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan approved the adjustment of the Consolidated Public Service Salary Structure, (CONPSS).
The federal civil service minimum wage position is N18,000. Grade level 04 Step (S) 1 get paid about N242,994 per year.School leavers get N20,249 per month, whereas a manager in the FCSC gets about N348,633 per month. University graduates, are hired on GL 07 – S 01 level are paid N43,163.75 monthly.
The minimum wage for FCSC staff, on level GL 01 S 1 will get paid N226,800 annually, although it then looks like one is paid get N18,900 monthly.
Graduates from High school on level GL 04 who are going to get S15, are paid N363,794 annually, while university graduates, having gotten received GL 07 – S15 will be paid N65,041.75 monthly. Members on this level stop at S11 and do not go on to S15 like their counterparts.
Executives on level GL 13 – S1 will earn N1,174,233 yearly and get paid N1,653,453 after getting to S11 whereas GL14 – S1 executives will earn N1,295,818 yearly and after getting to S11 will be paid about N1,811,724.
GL15 – S1 executive officers are paid a wage of N1,778,616 annually. On getting to S9, they are paid about N2,363,140 yearly. However, their colleagues on level GL16 – S1 earn N2,197,677 yearly and N5,452,136 after getting S9.
